This class is taught to both Scouters and Non- Scouters who want to learn first aid before any high adventure trip.
Learn the skills required for medical emergencies you may encounter in the back country. This class will teach you the first aid you will need when you are miles away from outside help and you may be the only trained person who could save a life.
Wilderness First Aid training provides the next level training needed to safely conduct any high adventure back country activity where EMS is not available. Participants will learn how to assess, treat, and contain emergencies within the scope of their training.
Youth and Adult Scout leaders, Scouts & Non-Scouts over age 14 are invited to participate and earn their certification. Students will receive certification in Adult, Child, Infant CPR & AED and certification in Wilderness First Aid - all certification is good for 2 years.
BSA Wilderness First Aid is required for all high adventure camps.
This course is only $125 per student and CPR/AED is taught for free.
